Hello! Welcome to my blog. As this is one of my first blog posts, I thought that I would do a makeup related Q&A. I will be answering 5 questions. hope you enjoy it! 1. What was your first makeup item? When I was young I would always 'borrow' my mums makeup. I loved her colourful eye shadows and glittery eyeliners, but the first item I actually bought was the natural collection concealer which was closely followed by the classic tinted moisturiser. 2. Describe your perfect mascara. Have you found one that fits your specifications? I don't know if it counts but the benefit tinted primer is amazing! It curls, lengthens and volumises my eyelashes perfectly. I highly recommend it! 3.what kind of coverage do you prefer from foundation? I like foundations with high coverage but I don't like them to look cakey. I find that the maybeline fit me foundation is amazing. 4. What cosmetic brands have you always wanted to try but still haven't? Nars and urban decay. 5. Is there any kind of makeup can't leave the house without? Mascara! Without it my eyelashes are non existent. So there it was, my makeup Q&A. I really hope you enjoyed it. I'm going to try and post at least once a week so look out for any new blog posts. Thanks for reading Goodbye! Xox

Hello and welcome to today's blog post! Recently, I came across a new collection from Primark's ps beauty range and its safe to say I was very excited! I have wanted to try liquid lipsticks for a very long time but as I don't wear lipstick that often, I didn't want to invest a lot of money in a lipstick I may only wear once or twice. However, when I was in Primark the other day, I came across a whole collection, and at £2 each I knew I had to get them all! So today i'm going to be testing the whole collection for you and letting you know how I get on, Enjoy! The NudesOkay, so these were the shades I was most excited about as they're the ones I would get the most wear out of. Shade 1-05 karlaThis was my favourite shade of them all. I found it very complimentary to my skin tone and just loved it! shade 2-01 kimThis colour really didn't suit me and I thought it washed me out. shade 3-07 kendallAgain, I really don't think that this shade suited me. Also it was quite streaky and needed at least two layers. overall I thought these shades were nice but not all of them suited me.They were all very pigmented apart from the last one (07 Kourtney). However, I love the first colour and think it's new my favourite lipstick in my collection! I will definitely be wearing it a lot. The reds(and purple)As I don't often wear lipstick, I was unsure that I will ever really wear these but I thought that I may be pleasantly surprised and really like them. shade 1-05This was a very bright, classic, hollywood red and I actually loved it! I do think it's to bright for me to be able to wear in public as it's far out of my comfort zone, but for photos and a bit of fun it was great! As its such a strong and vibrant colour I needed two coats and unfortunately it did stain my lips but overall I think it's great! shade 2-04I found that this colour was too dark for me and once again needed two coats and stained my lips. i didn't think that this one was as good. shade 3-kikiOnce again this lipstick was way too dark for me and made me look very goth like! however it had surprisingly good coverage and only needed one coat. the metallicsI definitely know that i'm not going to wear these out on an every day basis but they might look good for a festival. shade 1-queenThis shade was crazy! it made me look like some kind of alien. however, it only required one coat which i thought was impressive as its metallic and quite a light colour. shade 2- goddessi actually really liked this colour and would like to wear it over the top of another colour. though this had awful coverage. it needed at least three coats which made my lips feel really heavy. overall thoughts...i think these lipsticks were a bargain and exceeded my expectations. I think it's a great range of colours and there is definitely a colour for every skin tone. they all smell lovely and the applicator is one of the best iv'e ever tried. One of the only bad things i have to say is how badly some of them stained. It was mainly the red ones which is too be expected, but i'm sure it would come off after a face wash. they all stayed on my lips for about 6 hours which is incredibly for the price! Also they dried down in about 20 seconds. Overall i would highly recommend these for anyone that wants to start wearing liquid lippies or just want to try a new shad but doesn't want to spend a fortune! I really hope you enjoyed this post and that it helped you out. see you soon, bye xox Hello everyone! Today I'm going to show you how to create this gorgeous smokey eye look using only the Too Faced Natural Eyes palette. Start by applying concealer all over your lid and then set it with heaven. Blend this all the way up to your brow bone. Next, take a blending brush, I used my real techniques deluxe crease brush, and buff nudie into the crease and blended it up to just below your brow bone. Then apply sexspresso directly into the crease with the same blending brush to add depth and dimension. Now line you water line with a brown eyeliner. I used the Soap And Glory smoulder kohl water proof eyeliner in the shade cocoa bean. You then want to draw this up and along your crease to make it even darker. Now blend it out using any small blending brush. To make the shimmer shade pop, you should apply a white eyeliner or shadow stick all over you lid. I used the too faced bulletproof liner in the shade white lie. Now apply silk teddy on top of the white and into the corner of your eye. Finally, add eyeliner. I like to apply mine with a eyeliner brush dipped into my mascara as i find it's more creamy and stays better. Now add mascara, I used w7 absolute lashes, and a bit of highlight on your brow bone and your done! Let me know how you got on in the comments below and leave a request for future tutorials. Bye! xox |
